I have an undeniable love for led lights, so as I stepped into the bar it was unsurprisingly one of the first things I set my eyes on. A great vibe, not to mention a celling full of bras – something you have to see with your own eyes. Strange, but cool.
2. Portobello Road, Notting Hill
I’ve lived in London my whole life & this was the first time I’ve been to Portobello Road. If you love street art then it’s probs a cool place for you. There’s so many places to eat or have a drink so you won’t be starved of choice. There’s a few vintage shops, a lot of stalls selling jewllery, and multicolour houses which make for that perfect insta shot. Yea, mine’s pretty shit U can do better !!
Literally fell in love with the Princess Diana X Forest Gump piece. Candid.
3. Lights of Soho, Soho
I have an undeniable fascination for neon lights. So, Lights of Soho is the place for that. Admittedly, it’s smaller than I imagined, but still a good few lights to see. Plus it’s free (winning ??? Yes). There’s a bar/cafe to get a drink whatever ya fancy. Be warned, it closes at 6pm – I’ve read a lot of people have trouble because they don’t realise it closes to the public at 6pm – so if you’re passing by be sure to have a look!
Shoreditch has an arty feel to it with lots of street art. There’s a load of food places, cool bars & vintage shops.
Once you’ve explored the area you HAVE to go to Queen of Hoxton when they have their tipi up (check on their site http://www.queenofhoxton.com) think… roasting marshmallows on the fire, faux fur throws & vodka!!! After 10pm the tipi is closed, so you find yourself making your way downstairs to the bar & end up spending the rest of your night there.
